RULES
Characters
-The amount of characters a muggle may have is on a case by case basis. Talk to the mod before applying for a character to make sure you have room!
-Canon characters are now allowed, including for characters from the future. These characters will be established by canon and interviews or notes by JK Rowling and the character list will be updated to reflect the changes. Once the character list is updated the character will be up for adoption.
-Any Canon character is up for adoption, this includes the dead. However keep in mind that Bathilda Bagshot died at a very old age, so if you picked her up she would be old and would probably die again from heart failure. But you know, whatever floats your boat.
-Characters may be held on the character list page. Characters will be held for 3 days from the time the mod gets the message. Extensions are granted, but frowned upon.
-Challenges are accepted and a decision will not be made on a character until all applications are recieved or the hold time expires.
-If a character is currently not munned but needed for a plotline the mod will step in and play the character as a NPC. Request a NPC for a plot here.
Activity
-Please try to use your character in one way shape or form once a week. This includes, comments, journal entries and threads.
-We understand that real life happens. If you are going to be away or on hiatus, just let the mod know and you may discuss it.
-Activity checks will happen on a monthly basis and inactive characters will be put back up for adoption.

-Personal journals are used as just that. Characters write in these journals about their lives, or sometimes use them to communicate with each other. Other characters may reply via the comments. Everything done in the personal journal of a character is in first person.
-Characters may use spells on sections of their journal or on entire journal entries to keep them completely private or private to a certain person(s). It looks something like this:

-Sometimes quills mess up. Words that arestruck through are semi-visible with a little effort from the character. However words that are bolded and struck through are not visible under any circumstances.
-tesseract community is used to play out scenes. When posting a new scene to the community use the following format:

-No Godmodding. This is when you control another character in your post that is not your own. Remember that the only character's action you have any control over is your own.
-There is no age requirement, but any thread, letter, phone call or journal entry that would be rated R or higher must be put behind a cut.
-Have fun! That's what the game is about. It's a drama series, yes, but remember that in the end it's all about having fun so don't take things in character too seriously.
